Statuesque

I was walking Lucy through the park before work the other day when we happened directly next to a townhome that has two dog statues out front. We got to this park every day, but for some reason on this day the dog statues caught her attention. She started at them, sniffed at the gate (which perhaps smelled of the real dog that lives at that house), and assumed her "I'm checking you out now" defensive stance. The other dog (statue) kept staring at her but didn't move (obviously), so Lucy did her little "let's play" jump to see if the other dog would respond and thought about giving a little bark. The start of the schoolday was nearing, so we had to leave before she unearth the mystery of the statueque dog. Funniest thing I saw all week.
