A seat in need is a seat indeed

A message to the middle-aged men on the bus (especially the #3 going south around 7:30 AM): When there is an empty seat, please sit down in it. This allows those of us smooshed up front in the bus to move further back, thus easing the crush and providing room for more people to board. If you just can't bring yourself to sit down, then move so other people can. One empty seat next to you means you're taking up room for two people. When seats go empty in your attempt at chivalry, all you really do is irritate the lovely ladies up front who can't move back because of your bone-headedness.
