Yes, I am a short, chubby, pregnant woman. But I do think I looked lovely in the dress my husband bought me for my birthday especially for our several special events this summer. And seriously -- don't you just love the curly hair I pulled off for the event? The volume! Finally, those days of colicky hair-dos pays off.

Yet, I never understood the desire for pregnant women to have a record of their belly during gestation. I certainly did not want photos of me with any of my pregnancies.
Still, you really do look lovely. It is a fabulous dress.
I think it's the result of sheer fascination with the idea that there's a person in there. I wouldn't ever want to have this belly not pregnant, but the concept that there's a kid in there who will (we hope) eventually come out and grow up is just so insane that it's like I want proof that he was once there.
I dunno know.
