Thanks giving, Week 14

After 36 hours in Chicago, I am thankful to be home.  Thankful for people at my former school who welcomed me back, were willing to help me out, and were thoughtful and reflective in their responses to my many questions.  I am thankful to Anna Clark, who said to me, "Ms. Self, you're the best teacher I ever had."  Maybe she didn't really mean it, or maybe she only meant it in that moment, but it's always nice to hear.  I'm thankful for Wes, who took care of Oliver while I was away and played with him to the point of exhaustion, such that Ollie slept until after 8am today.  And I'm thankful that I have the material for my projects this semester.
