Gesundheit

The newspapers always run an article when the president has his yearly physical. I don't see why my health shouldn't be just as important. I went to the optometrist, my general internal doctor for an annual exam, and the dentist for x-rays and a cleaning. Here are my "stats."

Optometrist: Slightly stronger lenses, and I'm also going to try contacts when the doc gets some trial lenses in for me. I have to wear my glasses all the time now, so this is just a test run to have some options for when I work out and the like.

Doctor:

Temp: 98.5
Pulse: 76/minute
Respiration: 18/minute
Blood pressue: 110/84
Weight: 137 lbs.
Height: 5' 4"
Some other info that the world really doesn't want to know...

They also tested my cholesterol, which I will be happy to share with you when I get the results back.

Dentist: Declared me in "ridiculously good health" and said I have outstanding home hygiene habits (thanks, mom and dad, plus for the braces and yearly cleanings that kept them nice). No cavities, no plaque buildup, and a good amount of saliva (ask your dentist, and he can explain to you why it's so important).
