My mom mailed me one of my childhood baby dolls to use at school tomorrow for a "spirit day." This week we're dressing up every day (you remember doing this in school, right?). Today we were supposed to dress up as what we always dreamed of being -- a kind of unpursued or unfulfilled dream. I dress up as a ballerina. I had quite the costume. Unfortunately, the batteries in our camera were dead, so I'll have to wait and post pictures that were taken at school. Tomorrow, we're dressing up like our moms or a mom, so I'm doing the "new mom" look. Angelcake's going to go with me as my new baby in a type of rigged-out sling. The kids seemed royally amused that I'm so into it. This is the kind of thing I would never have dreamed of doing in high school, but as a teacher, I don't really care if I look stupid, which just makes it that much more fun. Will share my outfits as the week progresses!
