Lucy the Dog Goes to School

I went to school yesterday (yes, on a Saturday) to get the classroom fully set up before the girls come tomorrow. We don't have classes yet, but there will be students in the room, and I figured if I got it done this weekend I wouldn't be there next weekend anxious about getting done. Wes spent the day asleep at home since he's on night, and with no students in the building (and the blessing of my administrators), I saw no reason not to take Lucy with me. Otherwise, she just tries to weasel her way into bed with Wes. Her reaction to the new surroundings was predictable. She was nervous to be there, spent a lot of time pacing around the room and eating things that were never intended to be eaten off the floor. She eventually calmed down and found a place to rest -- under my desk. She also submitted to a few posed photos of her that I'm going to use in the classroom next week. Evidently she found my classroom a bit boring, though, given the yawn you can see in the bottom photo. I think her favorite part was the walk there and home.
