There was Christmas decorating last year, and then there was Christmas decorating this year: four stocking hung with care on the bookshelves. Blame it on the baby, on me going back to work and struggling to balance my duties, on the fact that we're traveling for the holidays this year. Or sheer laziness.
No excuses for my sister, though, who is celebrating her first Christmas in her new home by making it look even more lovely.
