Thanks giving, Week 40

I am thankful for fall.

The weather is cooler.  It's been in the 70s for the past week, and the highs for this weekend are in the low 60s.  There is one tree on Belmont Avenue that is starting to change colors, and there's a few more crunchy leaves on Peabody's campus.

October will be a bad month for Wes.  He has class again, shifts on the weekend and at night, plus a trip to Chicago for his oral boards.  But fall is his favorite month, so I will try to remind him -- when he has time to breathe -- to look outside and enjoy it.  Oliver will almost certainly be outside a lot, mowing the lawn or raking leaves.  And even if I have to sit in the plastic folding chairs out there with my laptop, I plan to soak up as much of it as I can.
