My mother kept telling me in the days after Emmeline's birth that I needed to nap or I would get sick from exhaustion. I don't know if it's the lack of naps or just winter and germy children, but everyone in our house is definitely ill. Wes has some kind of sinus problem that's left him with a nasty nose and headache, plus he's tired, even when he gets a full night of sleep. I've had a sore throat, hoarseness, some sinus pressure, and a cough, but my headache, I'm assuming, is from lack of sleep. Oliver has a sometimes runny, sometimes crusty nose and a bit of a cough. Emme's even been a little congested, though fortunately it's in her nose and not her lungs. She sneezes out these adult-sized boogers that I rush to wipe with whatever's available before she inhales them back up her nostrils. Lucy seems health -- she just stinks.
And on that note, I'm going to take a nap.

And don't forget to drink lots of water. You need to drink more to fight off the colds and other germs.
