Wes and I went out to a nice dinner and even got a little dressed up. Well, I did. He wore what he'd been wearing all week to his conference, and I put on a dress. We looked cute together. We were way overdressed for this "semi-casual" California eatery. There was a toddler and a guy in Birkenstocks at the next table. The food was fair, the wine good, the company excellent. I wish we could have gotten a better picture, but we weren't going to complicate our night of fine dining by towing a camera with us.San Diego -- it was good. Nice town, great weather. Seeing our kids again -- it was great. Until next year (Chicago!), I have the blog posts to remember the sights, the smells, and the sleep of this vacation.
