My friend PennPal visited over Memorial Day weekend, and I did a lovely blog entry about it with lots of pictures and a description of all that we did. But unfortunately, it didn't post properly, and I just didn't have the energy to redo the whole thing. So here is the next best thing -- a few photos short and about a month late. We did have a very nice time -- playing with Lucy, seeing the sites (including the Conservatory near the top of Lincoln Park Zoo, where these pictures were taken), eating pizza at Giordano's and beef at Ditka's with another Chicago friend. PennPal is hot and heavy (in a completely appropriate way,
of course) with a guy in Philadelphia, and rumor has it that a wedding is in the works. We're still waiting for the ring and the date, of course, but a girl can plan, can't she?
