Tall Sister-in-Law gave birth last Friday to my second nephew, Little Man: 8 lbs., 8 ozs, 21 3/4". Big Baby stayed with TSIL's parents, Boat Man and Miami Grandma. Big Baby is reported to have spent the duration of TSIL's labor wandering around the house saying, "Mom, mom, mom, mom," "da, da, da, da" and searching in vain. Consequently, he was wired when he got to the hospital after the birth at the sight of "mom" and "da," and as Big Daddy tells it, was completely unaware of the little squirmy thing on mom's lap. My mom is heading down there this Friday to help hold down the fort -- or more

specifically, to help take care of the 15-month-old who LOVES to open the drawers in the kitchen and drop loud pans on the kitchen floor. Our love to the once again new mom and dad and the for-the-first-time big brother.
