Perfect Strangers

Yes, it's been a while since I've seen my old friend Balki and Larry from Perfect Strangers, a silly show about a fuddy New Yorker and his quirky but adorable cousin from Mepos. My sister and I adored this show growing up, but then it went off the air and I almost never saw it run in syndication. When a friend of mine and I met up in New York now almost three years ago, we visited the Museum of Television Industry (or some such name) and got to watch the pilot episode. There I was last night, flipping through the guide on Comcast to what was on, and what did I behold but none other than Perfect Strangers. Friend, they're back. Every night at 7:30 central on some station called Ion. You'll know why I don't answer now if you call between 7:30 and 8pm.
