I returned home from Savannah yesterday, after a five-hour layover in Atlanta (which made me happy the baby is still so easily placated, what with it being in my womb and all), to find snow on the ground and more coming down. When I woke up this morning, it was still snowing. Spring, indeed.
While gone, Lucy managed to excrete various bodily fluids in the apartment while Wes was downstairs exercising (do you think it's fair for a man to go on and on about how he's losing weight as his wife helplessly, albeit joyfully, expands?). In addition, she attacked our jade plant while it was sunning in the window -- which it's done before -- knocking it out of the pot, tearing out the middle stalk, and chewing on the plant. I'm shocked it didn't make her sick or worse. I'm not confident the plant will survive and am saddened as this was one of our heartier plants.
