Wes tried using the new ice cream maker yesterday, but because he hadn't cooled the bowl long enough, the ice cream wouldn't set and was therefore very runny. When he tried to get the ice cream out and into a bowl, he managed to get runny, sticky ice cream mix everywhere. He called Lucy over to help bail him out with that which had dripped onto the floor. She got it -- and managed to get ice cream drips on her head. By the time I was done cleaning the whole thing up, two things had become apparent: 1) Wes is not allowed to use the ice cream maker without adult supervision, and 2) Lucy likes homemade vanilla ice cream.
